History
The chapter was organized Feb.28, 1906.

Adam Dale was born in Worchester County, Maryland, on July 14, 1768. In 1781, he volunteered in a company of boys (ages 14 to 16) to oppose Lord Cornwallis' progress through Virginia toward Yorktown. Land grants to he and his father, Thomas, brought him to Tennessee in 1797. He was the original settler in DeKalb County where he founded the town of Liberty. Adam Dale fought with Gen. Andrew Jackson in the War of 1812. In 1840, he moved to Hazel Green, Alabama, where he died October 14, 1851. His children had his body moved back to Maury County, Tennessee, to be buried beside his wife in Rose Hill Cemetery. Our chapter had a DAR marker placed on his grave in 1914.
 
Chapter Notes
Adam Dale Chapter meets in members' homes on the third Saturday of each month October through May -- exception the second Saturday in December.
